Dear Fellow Alumna,
I welcome you to our online community. As alumnae, we must always remember that our Alma Mater thrives on our involvement and commitment, and that both are vital to continuing our legacy. Our Lady of Lourdes Academy continues to enrich the lives of young women in ways few other schools do. Our students are well rounded, spiritual and intelligent. They experience some of the same traditions we did and then some.
Anywhere you go, you will find an Our Lady of Lourdes Academy alumna. We are very diverse and unique in our talents and skills. Our Lady of Lourdes Academy prepared us for that, and because of that, I encourage you to continue to be active participants in the making of new alumnae.
Join us at our monthly meetings, every first Wednesday of the month; attend your reunion, the Alumnae Cocktail, the Lenten retreat or the Christmas Caroling Family Night. Visit our Alma Mater and attend some of our events that celebrate our students, which include our school plays, the spring musical and the Annual Art Show.
We should all be proud to be part of the legacy that is Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. Now more than ever, I encourage you to be an active part of our future.
Our reunions for this fall include: ‘69 – November 13th and 14th, ‘74 – Sept 26th, ‘79 - Oct 3rd and 4th, ‘89 – October 17th and 18th, ‘99 – October 23rd, 24th and 25th. Please find more details on any of these under our reunion section below.
Mark your calendar for ALUMNAE DAY on October 7th at the school. I invite you to return on this school day and see and feel OLLA today. You will be able to interact with our present faculty, staff and administration. Details for this will be sent via email in the weeks to follow.
There are many exciting plans this school year, and we want to make sure the alumnae are a part of them. I look forward to hearing and seeing many of you in the events to come.
God Bless!

Our Lady of Lourdes Academy believes that alumnae are not only part of our history but an integral part of our growth and future. The Association reaches out to those members that live outside of Miami by visiting different cities and establishing a connection between the alumnae living in the area. It is a way to build new friendships and rekindle old ties. Our goal is to leave the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy mark in every city and encourage Lourdes girls to keep their lives interrelated. We encourage any alumna who is interested in finding or forming a Chapter in her area to email the Alumnae Director, Martica Castellanos: mcastellanos@olla.org
